3rd Edition of The Barhemians’s Stop Drop & Roll Show Live! 

Featuring Xz.avier and MarthaCoreen

The Barhemian welcomes the crowd, wishes a couple guests a happy Bday…and gets straight into introducing both  Xz.avier and his guest MarthaCoreen. As the 3rd installation of the LIVE Stop Drop & Roll Show on the rooftop patio of Loft Bar & Bistro, this documentary video is full of great conversations as well as the grit and audible patina that Downtown San Jose’s SoSA Party District provides. As we continue to capture and produce this docu-series, and use the tools we have available, this  Xz.avier edition breathes authenticity and the heart and soul of Stop Drop & Roll Show. 

Xz.avier was influenced by D’Angelo, Outkast, Kendrick Lamar, 2-Pac, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, Funkadelic, Ohio Players and soul music. Started at age three, started with his father’s cabinets of vinyl records as a kid. Then blossomed when he arrived to SJSU, saw the piano at his dorm, he went back to playing and singing and talks about how he gets impulsively creative and productive. A song hits him at any point of the day. They discuss how Xz.avier works with collaborations and music friends, and gets motivated with organic vibes. We learn why Xz.avier loves the Autumn season, what BATR stands for, where his nickname ’TheSoulDon’ comes from, how his own radio show has evolved, and how the ‘demic changed his artistry in a very positive way with more time and opportunities. The Barhemian taps into deep topics like inspiration, real life situations, finding purpose in what we do, and sound advice to other artists. Xz.avier shares one of is favorite quotes by Kendrick Lamar, the three albums he can’t live without, and more with The Barhemian’s signature 22-questions. The guests took some questions for the audience, and the show concluded with a lively meet and greet, and superb live performances by both Xz.avier and MarthaCoreen.
